Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Semafloor LLC handles personal information on this website, in launch subscriptions, and when authorized users access Semafloor or connect a calendar account.
Who we are
Semafloor LLC is a Wyoming company that develops room-booking software. Our mailing address is 30 N Gould St, #29068, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For privacy questions or requests, .
This website and launch notifications
When you subscribe, we collect your email address and subscription records, including confirmation and unsubscribe status, to send the launch announcement you requested. EmailOctopus processes subscriptions and delivers these messages on our behalf. Subscription forms may also process technical information such as IP address and browser details to operate the form and prevent abuse. We do not use a launch subscription as permission for unrelated marketing or create an app account for you.
If you contact us, we use your contact details and message to respond. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL and browser information, to deliver and protect the website.
Accounts and room reservations
For authorized app users, we process account and organization information, room reservations, notification preferences, and service and security records to operate Semafloor. Your organization may control its workspace and the information visible to its authorized members and administrators. If your organization manages your account, contact it about its own handling of your information.
Google and Microsoft account connections
If you choose provider sign-in, we receive account identifiers and basic profile information, such as your name and email address, to identify you and secure your access. Where calendar access is authorized, we access calendar identifiers, room/resource information, availability and event details needed for scheduling. Depending on the permission and connected service, event details can include titles, times, locations, organizers and attendees.
We use this information to show relevant availability and reservations, synchronize authorized calendars, and create, update or cancel calendar events for actions taken in Semafloor. We store the connection credentials and necessary calendar or booking records to maintain these functions. Calendar access requires authorization; signing up for a launch notification grants no access to your Google or Microsoft account.
We do not sell Google or Microsoft user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized artificial intelligence models. Google API data is used and transferred only in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Human access to Google user data is limited to the situations allowed by that policy, including your affirmative permission for specific support, security needs, legal obligations, or permitted aggregated internal operations.
Sharing and service providers
We share information only as needed to deliver the service, carry out your instructions, protect it, or meet legal obligations. This includes hosting and infrastructure providers; EmailOctopus for launch subscriptions; Postmark for application email delivery when configured; and Google or Microsoft for connections you authorize. Relevant reservation information may be shared with your organization, authorized participants and connected calendars as required to complete a booking. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Storage, security and retention
We use access controls and security measures appropriate to the information we process. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we and our service providers operate. Where required, we use applicable safeguards for international transfers.
We retain subscription information to provide the requested launch notification and maintain consent and suppression records. You can unsubscribe at any time. Account, booking and connection data is retained as needed to provide the service and meet security, organizational and legal requirements; data no longer needed is deleted or de-identified under our retention processes. Some records may remain in backups until their normal expiry or where retention is required by law.
Your choices and requests
Use the unsubscribe link in a launch email to stop those messages. You may also contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent, or exercise rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity. Essential app messages and marketing subscriptions are managed separately.
You can revoke a Google connection through your Google Account connections, and manage Microsoft app permissions through your Microsoft account or organization administrator. Revoking access stops future authorized access but does not automatically erase existing booking records. Contact us to request deletion of stored connection or account data and to understand any records your organization or the law requires us to retain.
Where applicable, you may object to processing, request a portable copy, or complain to your local data protection authority. We process information to provide requested services, with your consent for launch emails and account connections where required, for legitimate service and security purposes, and to comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and local preferences
This site stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser. We do not add advertising or analytics trackers to the site. The EmailOctopus form loads only when you choose to open it; its form uses Google reCAPTCHA for abuse prevention, which may process technical information and use browser storage or cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy. Subscription emails may record delivery and engagement information, such as opens or link clicks, according to the sending service’s settings.
Children and changes to this policy
Semafloor is intended for organizational use and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice or request new consent where required.
